About Us

Established in 2007, DJ Marquees Ltd is a family run business specialising in marquee & event furniture hire in Northampton, Northamptonshire & the surrounding counties.

So why the name DJ Marquees? Well the business was setup 13 years ago by David (D) & John (J). Two close friends both from agricultural backgrounds, looking for a form of diversification from Farming. David & John started off with one straight forward Clear Span Marquee structure with a few window walls and kept purchasing more and more equipment as demand kept growing. Being popular characters in the local area, it didn’t take long for the company to take off the ground with work naturally coming through word of mouth and the reputation they were building.

In 2013, with requirements on his farm increasing, John made the difficult decision to come out of the business to provide him with more time back on his family farm. Having Graduated from University with a degree in Real Estate Management and realising that he was too much of a country boy at heart for London life, it was in 2014 that David’s nephew Chris bought into the marquee business to become David’s business partner. From then David & Chris have continued to grow the business into the successful, independently run, family company it is today.

While we still regard ourselves as a small business, we’re more than big enough to cope with any of your marquee hire and furniture hire requirements. Our pride doesn’t just come from our roots as a company, but from the level of service we deliver as well as the fantastic reputation we have built for marquee hire in Northamptonshire and the neighbouring counties.
