A question we get asked a lot is, “Do we require Insurance when hiring a marquee?” – The simple answer is yes.
Our Terms & Conditions state that, “The risk of loss, theft, damage or destruction of the Equipment becomes yours after Delivery. The Equipment shall remain at your sole risk during the Hire Period and any further period of time during which the Equipment is in your possession (“Risk Period”) until such time as the Equipment is recovered by us.
To assist you in obtaining insurance, our Marquee Insurers, Covermarque Ltd are available to help. This is a really simple process. You can fill out a form through this link, quoting the total value of the equipment you are hiring. This value will be provided by us and represents the actual replacement value of the equipment that you are hiring, including furnishings, toilets, generators etc. Covermarque will then contact you and provide you with a quotation.
Due to current circumstances, most complete wedding insurance packages are temporarily unavailable, however Covermarque Ltd are still able to offer cover on the hired in event equipment and liability.
Cancellation cover (excluding Coronavirus) is available in respect of all other types of events and hopefully this will be available for Weddings again soon!
